In contrast to the verticality of the trunks and the apparent chaos of the forest universe, Héphaistos draws an interval, simple and orderly. Place of passage, gathering or bivouac, the project seeks this balance between the wish to drown in the unfathomable forest and the need to protect oneself at least.

To this fragile game, the project simply offers a floor to get away from the humidity of the ground, a roof to protect yourself from the humidity of the sky and two curtains to camouflage your own fears. The fireplace, its light and its warmth become the new center of this in-between.
When the day comes, everything dissipates and lets in the soft morning light.

The set, entirely of solid wood from the forest in which it is inserted, is based on elements which add up to modular 125x300cm, repetitive and easy to handle.
