Is your heart ready to give up?
Is your heart ready to give up?
In one hand:
The world population in 2050 will exceed 9 billion people, the "Mega-cities" will host more than 10 million people, the climate change, the imbalance between wealth and poverty, the problem of the suburbs are increasingly.
Is your heart ready to give up?
In the other hand:
Our consolidated lifestyle, the search for comfort and the desire to choose how and where to live.
Is your heart ready to give up?
Is possible for architects, for centuries entrusted in the creation of urban spaces, choose not to build and work only on the existing? Probably not, but the search for this alternative would be a very difficult road, but revolutionary.
We do not have a definite answer, but the desire to try to build a concrete visions of the future of architecture.
No new buildings, but retraining and vertical growth. Non-use of land, but the revision of the urban tissue and the adding of services, with the use of new technologies to maintain current living standards to all people.
