Living alone is a choice that attract many people nowadays and that would meet the needs of an ever-growing part of European citizens. But it is too often victim of unregulated market speculations that make living alone economically unsustainable and highly precarious. By choice or coincidence, living alone is a contemporary lifestyle that claims attention and worthy housing solutions, economic subsidies and new forms of care.
