We believe that young people getting their own homes, will always be an important issue for starting-up a good life. In most cases budget for every type of home among young people is very tight, sometimes even too tight.

With this project we wanted to show to young couple from Ljubljana, Slovenia, how they could get their own house with no need of buying a land where they could build it.
Idea is that they renovate the roof of existing multi - family house, that is owned by their relatives, and as an exchange they get the space under the roof.
Our proposal is a small wooden cabin set on top of existing house. Its simplicity in structure and materiality makes the house affordable and yet interesting and appealing.
People getting their own homes, will always be an important issue also in the future, so we need to keep on exploring potentials of how young people can reach their dreams!
