ERchitecture
ERchitecture
The immediate and ordinary way of thinking brings in mind the idea of new buildings.
Time is prone to directing a growth of value and the fast paced life hardly allows the start of new ones if the spaces are to meet the immediate and quickly growing needs of the people.
This led towards thinking in ways of time and cost efficiency, and using the existing spaces to fulfill those needs by regenerating their prior use, known as ‘adaptive reuse’, where the architect attempts to meet the elementary needs.
But what if the new revolution begins with a new concept, adaptability efficiency, since the requirements of societal changes are growing towards community wants.
What if the people and the communities are presented with the chance to occupy the spaces they deem necessary for their own needs, whereas architects will be able to use this as an observational opportunity and learning experience to change the process of designing them.
