How do we move through our cities? Are our cities leisure producers? How do we visit them? These are some of the questions posed on BudaFCKNPest.
BudaFCKNPest is understood as a space for reflection on the growth and consolidation of our cities through their existing transport infrastructures.
In this context, the proposal for the expansion and consolidation of one of the most important transportation hubs in the city of Budapest is being developed. The location of the current interchange in a central Baroque square, on the banks of the Danube river and opposite the Hungarian Parliament, makes the proposal for an integrated response to the synergies generated by activities related to transport, leisure and tourism in the city.
Society is changing and evidently contexts such as the ones we are currently experiencing with the COVID crisis can accelerate these changes. As a consequence, cities and infrastructures will have to be prepared to channel these changes efficiently.
