Patarei Prison

Inside a real Prison

Patarei Prison

Inside a real Prison
"Performance" inside a Political Prison. The idea was to relate prison spaces by a tennis ball. After that, I made a video of it.
File under

Patarei, a former barracks and tsarist army coastal battery, became a Prison, one of the major centers of Soviet repression in Tallinn (Estonia) as it was run by the KGB. In the Second World War, the Nazi army detained about a thousand Jews in this place. Today you can visit the lonely rooms.

The idea of this artistic "performance" was to relate the architecture spaces of a prison by a tennis ball, and create a video with that.

perhaps the video can change the way of thinking about prisons. And consequently, how to build them.
