Fables are True

Questioning the relationship between man and nature.

Fables are True

Questioning the relationship between man and nature.
Fables Are True creates a panorama of sensations to trigger an imaginative process toward new ways to conceive nature in relation to man.
File under

The relationship between man and nature is historically characterized by inherent contradictions, revealing the man engaged in constant attempts of co-exist with natural environment, trying to dominate it from a scientific point of view.

We should approach the city through a de-learning process that allows us to grasp the poetical aspects of our cities. We live in an environment which we evaluate through our senses and imagination: let’s join observation, memory and imagination with experience. Reality is an interpretation connected to everyone’s personal history.

This way we can gain awareness of nature’s daily presence in the city, which manifests itself through many spontaneous forms which we are no longer sensitive to perceive.

Fables Are True collects a set of movies’ scenes, a contemporaneity of actions where it is catched a somehow poetic moment dealing with nature, generating a palimpsest of endless visions and interpretations.
