The project is created as a laboratory of new ways of re-thinking the financial structure of the building industry. The aim is to create a discussion group and a forum to exchange knowledge and ideas, of how we as architects and other professionals within the building industry, can ensure a financial structure that channels money into the built environment, and not only extract money, from the built environment.
Architecture + Fundraising is a search for a new way to finance architecture. By connecting foundations and philanthropists with public and private organisations and institutions with a social agenda, and the need of new buildings, we are able to create better architecture of higher quality.
