Architecture that Reacts
Architecture that Reacts
The future becomes increasingly more unpredictable. Our surroundings cannot be "designed" anymore, they need to be "initiated" to achieve a free, dynamic creation that fulfills social and environmental needs. Architecture must become a constantly developing organism which "reacts" dynamically to its surroundings and performs in relation to them.
The mission of Laka is to promote and support projects of "Architecture that Reacts" - socially engaged and capable of reacting to unpredictable conditions and environmental, natural and social risks. Members and Participants of Laka's network stimulate an innovative discourse about the aims of future architecture and prove that the best solutions emerge from combining a variety of disciplines through a comprehensive approach to the problem.
