The development of the AR (and VR) tools, forces us to renegotiate the meaning of the term “space “ and therefore the role of architecture. Currently, VR tools and software are designed to adapt to the qualities of the physical space. What if the priority in everyday life is slowly given to the augmented or virtual part? We are starting to live in a world where our built environment is becoming a canvas for a variety of content, while the complexity gets greater with time. This will require mediation of space. Which elements will remain the same and which will disappear or evolve. Will physical space serve only as a necessary base for the augmentation - which will be (is) the actual content of our experiences? Our project stands for question what will be given priority- AR tools or the physical space? What will shape what?
