The future of Software is our Future
The future of Software is our Future
- New alliances
Architecture is a mediated practice that exist at a distance from its final object. This mediation takes place increasingly within a digital workspace. Such means are never neutral, they impact the built. Architecture is as must shaped by the hardware and software as by the design process. As the software’s become more complex are architects bound to lose control and become the ones being controlled. If we can understand in which ways, the software comes with preloaded solutions and methods that reflect directly on architecture we can create a space of liberty within a digital workspace. This aims to be a way to face an architectural method of production that seems to need every day less the architect and more the programmer, more so with the rise of AI. This is not an anti-technological stance rather it seeks to understand what takes place underneath the triviality of the day to day architectonic design.
