209 rue Saint Maur, Paris, France
We are Mathilde, Mahaut, Katia, Francesca, Alessandro, Kevser and Robin, 7 friends from the 90's who met at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture of Paris-Est. In recent years, we compile experiences and encounters in architectural and designer firms all over the world. From Japan to Chile via Italie, we wanted to gather them all in one object, with same format and rules, to confront different vision of architecture.

Type of project
  • New alliances

CARTE BLANCHE is a cultural frame which aims to seek and confront fascinations of contemporary practices. While the architecture discipline is as much a matter of paper, thinking and build objects, editors strives to explore through that medium new ways of displaying or diffusing architecture. The final shape of the zine is being lead to evolve constantly when the focus aims toward experimentation of a new broadcasting frame of the contemporary practice. An ordinary blank sheet as a proven format is given to the individuality asked, allowing the same starting point for architects, designers, dedicated students who then expose projects and own references. Guests are encouraged to express theirs beliefs and fantasms within these boundaries. CARTE BLANCHE is a frame—29,7 by 42, black and white, both sides.
