КУБ (eng: CUBE) is a practical part of two-year Franco-Ukrainian research of Anastasiia Kondratieva "Militantisme urbain dans la ville post-soviétique. Étude de cas de la ville de Dnipro" (eng: "Urban militancy in post-soviet cities. Case study: the city of Dnipro").
КУБ (eng: CUBE) is a modular urban stucture installed in public spaces and realized on the basis of the participation and participatory urbanism, that lets citizens to appropriate and to transform the city space in collaboration with professionals (architects, designers, socio-anthropologists, culture managers, etc.)
КУБ (eng: CUBE)is a wooden frame construction (2,1x2,1 m), filled with modular elements of the same size. Flat wooden elemets could be joined by different ways that lets citizens to create different configurations inside the КУБ (scene, seats with table, summer cinema, amphitheater, jardin partagé, lecture area, mini-expo space, etc.)
