Icarus
Icarus
- Site-specific cases
Year 2020. Some intergalactic projects are continuously appearing on the news. Great engineering and technology that defines these projects don´t have the architectural qualities that match to that technology. We, as architects, must reflect on this new type of architecture: The Ingravity architecture, which asks a single question: what happens when a roof can be a ceiling and wall at the same time?I This game allows you to create a capsule that grows in the dimensions you use, 8 modules with different programs play with the use of the dimensions, the maximum encapsulation of the space, a 360 room surrounds the private rooms of the house, a cylindrical spa and the ingravity garden.
The construction of the project will be carried out on the Space Shuttle rocket. The capsules will be anchored to a mega structure forming a horizontal skyscraper built using deployable mechanisms created by NASA patents. This allows the use of space to be determined by dimensions, line, plane, or volume.
