Nomad Space Lab is a parallel reality for researching. A real object where the architect, the student, the builder and the artist have no boundaries to explore different materials and spatial uses. This physical platform is linked to a virtual open-source platform that share its objectives and results.
Like a science experiment, the frame its always the same, so the experience could be monitored and documented over time. The object constant metamorphoses defines its purpose, a systematic change and adaptation to different purposes. This modular research laboratory sets on 3 contemporary issues: The constant need to reinvent new materials and surfaces; The new nomadic way of living between urban spaces; and The problematic lac of city space and its high price. Nomad Space Lab its thought to be moved, built, thought, criticized, shared, disassembled, scratched, painted, experienced, altered, duplicated, copied, stolen and appropriated as well as lived, experienced, tested and occupied.
