Call for ideas 2019
th/ought/s to a-void
th/ought/s to a-void
- New alliances
I want to create a non-linear and multi-layered text tissue around six different ideas. To get beneath their surface & to turn them into actual interfaces that are not only thought-provoking templates, but where the place between the lines becomes a location for associative contemplation.
The reading experience will be similar to exploring a city without using a map: you will stroll around & drift through the lines, get attracted & repelled by different things and occasionally linger somewhere. The layers will i.a. contain corresponding & interfering references from other cultural disciplines & practices. The basic layer will be an interview frame set with similar questions for each idea contributed.
It will work like a “Zettelkasten”. This text approach will not offer a conclusion, but rather open up new thinking spaces by leaving some voids & by keeping the text and the reader in movement. And it will add some poetry, which is much needed for any future. Not just architectures’.
