RE-WORK
RE-WORK
- Systemic changes
Much has been said, and much more will be said, in the context of architectural planning of public spaces. The phenomenon of massive urbanization makes the public space complicated and demanding in terms of planning, ethics and the zeitgeist. When you view at the public space through the prism of the digital age, it is clear that we are in an era of enormous potential for change, especially in terms of learning and working habits.
The “laptop revolution” of the early 21st century has radically changed the way people communicate, work and learn. If in the past most of the work took place in offices, today such tasks can be performed virtually anywhere. More people meet, work and study in the public sphere, creating a new world of possibilities. This project suggests a number of typologies for the urban working space. By providing these workspaces, the city can help improve upon a growing number of issues encountered in contemporary urban centers.
