OPERE VARIE is the creative corpus of the Italian duo Matteo Cor and Allina Cor. We met that day in 2011 in Venice, from that day we are living and making various things together. Between 2015 and 2018 we have been project leaders and artistic directors of the office de vylder vinck taillieu in Gent and Bruxelles. From jenuary 2019 we are artists in ViaFarini residency in Milan.

Italy has always been just an air and we love to remember and enjoy that today.

Today we are facing political situations of closed borders.
But Italy is the result of exchanges, mixtures, influences, contrasts:
different and changing stories have given us what today too many want to obtusely preserve, crystallizing a casual historical moment.

ARIA ITALIANA is inspired by the magazine ARIA D'ITALIA, released in Milan in stormy years of war, between 1939 and 1941, as a utopic project of combining enhancement of the Italian artistic heritage and the new style. In ARIA D'ITALIA avant-garde of typographic technique was combined with a noble idea of ​​divulgation: a sort of junction ring between DOMUS and STILE, of Gio Ponti, formulating what has been defined as "Italian Style".

ARIA ITALIANA puts art and architecture on the same level;
from ancient to contemporary;
with a divulgative method of our time.

Italy has always been just an air:
air of change, evolution, that conveys differences, novelties, wind that cools and scirocco that warms. Air that moves.
