Architecture has a direct impact on the way we structure and organize our lives, how we interact with each other and with nature. As human action continues to increase the pressure on the planet, the programme in 2021 will question how architecture can influence and change behaviors, habits, and patterns of living towards a more sustainable existence—to take better care of nature, of each other, and the environment. The overall theme for the Triennale in 2022 will be core to the projects.
OAT will invite three emergent creatives to contribute to the Triennale autumn programme in 2021, which will play an important part in the research and development towards the upcoming festival edition in 2022.
The three creatives will be invited to participate in the research phase leading up to the festival. Building up from the experience of content dissemination that OAT developed in 2020, with the implementation of a new digital platform for broadcasting of content in times of the pandemic, we are particularly interested in projects that can be disseminated digitally, such as films and podcasts, and which are accessible to the wider audience.
The programme will take place from July to October 2021 with a pre-production/preparation phase from April to June 2021.
