A contribution to the ongoing debate on reconstruction by a nascent architect.Hendrik Brinkmann (*1989) studied at the MSA and the UdK Berlin. In parallel he worked as a tutor for „design and urban renewal“ by Prof. Vassal and for „interdisciplinary design“ by Prof. Mer. During the course of his career Hendrik achieved several grants and awards, including the YTAA 2018, DETAIL scholarship 2016. A first practical experience he gained in the office of Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos, as well as Modulorbeat. Since October 2017 he works as a teaching assistant at the TU Berlin.The concept was one of the 25 selected ideas at the Future Architecture Call for Ideas 2019 that generated 357 ideas by 704 creatives from 60 countries all over the world. Hendrik Brinkman was also winner of YTAA Award 2018.
