- Site-specific cases
Modern in Belgrade (MuBGD) project brings together a group of architects (Iva Bekic, Irena Gajic, Dalia Dukanac, Stefan Djordjevic, Snezana Zlatkovic, Mirjana Jesic, Hristina Stojanovic, Petar Cigic) with a particular interest and involvement in the field of illustration, graphic design and fine arts. Together, they launched the MuBGD platform in 2018 to promote and critically analyze Belgrade's architectural heritage through innovative graphic representations. The authors' long-term research in the field of visual representation aims to contribute to the understanding of canonical architectural projects and objects and their roles in the broader socio-political, economic and cultural context, as a critical instrument for observation, reflection and behaviour in contemporary space.
In 2019, members have realized a total of 5 (five) exhibitions in Belgrade, Serbia, in which they had presented their work to a professional and general public.
