Grégoire Deberdt - Diasporic Ties
An investigation of the spatial manifestations of the ties of the diaspora with the city of Pristina.
Gregoire Deberdt (FR) studied architecture and urban planning (ENSA Versailles), urban policies (Sciences Po Paris) and landscape design (Genech Institute). Based in Paris, he founded A.O in 2019, multiplying multidisciplinary collaborations, focusing in the understanding of the present state of cities and territories. Prior to launch his own practice he has worked for Herzog & de Meuron (CH), Studio Mumbai (IN) and Barrault Pressacco (FR), and currently teaches at the EAVT.
The two-day event at the Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO) in Ljubljana represents the central gathering of the Future Architecture platform. The conference with 25 selected Future Architecture 2020 Call for Ideas applicants and invited guests is one of the most insightful annual gatherings around European architecture and showcases ideas and trends for the future development of the profession.
